The Estate

Addo African Home is located only ten minutes’ drive from the famous Addo Elephant National Park. The estate used to be a farm, build at the beginning of 20th century. Combining Khoi-San and colonial style, it has been renovated and magnified by an elegant French touch. Our restaurant is open every day. We offer many activities such as game drives to Addo Park departing from the estate, horse riding or hikes in the Zuurberg Mountain or river cruises.

Natural Pool

Along with our eco-friendly and sustainable practices, our swimming pool is 100% natural and organic. Water is filtered naturally through the micro-organisms in plant life and doesn't require to use any chemical. This is the perfect environment to relax with a glass of wine or a detox cocktail. Yoga session are often organized, and outside dinners can be arranged for romantic occasions.

Organic Practices

Let yourself be carried away to the organic vegetable garden, with home-grown salads, cauliflowers, tomatoes, beetroots and aromatic herbs used by our cooking students to make delicious recipes at the restaurant.

The garden is also well looked after by our chickens form the hen house, who produce the freshest eggs every morning for breakfast
